Meet friends at weekly coffee mornings
Every Monday morning U3A friends meet at the Green and Jenks Coffee Shop in Monmouth 10.30-11.30am. Members are free to meet but unfortunately Committee members will be absent on the Monday before the 3rd Tuesday of each month. No meetings on Bank Holidays.
A member is intersted in starting a table tennis group that would play one early evening a week in Whitchurch. If you are interested, please can you email: firstname.lastname@example.org

Red Shoes Matthew Bourne

Based on the film by Michael Powell and Emeric Pressburger and the Hans Christian Anderson fairytale
Music by Bernard Hermann. Matthew Bourne’s magical adaptation is set to a new score arranged by Terry Davies using the mesmerizing music of golden-age Hollywood composer, Bernard Herrmann (most famous for his collaborations with Alfred Hitchcock and Orson Welles). SHORT MAT BOWLS
Using full size bowls on an indoor mat approximately 20 metres long, Short Mat Bowls is held each Monday at 7pm to 9.30pm (with a tea break in the middle) and from 2pm to 4.30pm on Thursdays. The Club (Whitchurch Short Mat Bowls Club) would welcome new members, or people who want to try it without a commitment. Instruction will be provided to beginners and bowls are available. Anyone interested please give Ian Hunter a ring on 01594 835795 or e mail email@example.com so that you can be met on when you arrive and introduced to people.
IN CASE OF EMERGENCY (ICE) cards are being sent out with membership cards. Please write down the details of the person you would like to be informed in the event of an accident, and carry them with you on U3A trips and visits.

The committee recommend a charge of 30p per mile. The cost is to be shared between all occupants of the vehicle.
